Monday, April 28, 2014. On Monday morning I got up early,
because I had my second phone interview with a company in Austin where I hoped
to be hired. We had a pretty late night at Kevin’s.
Needless to say, I did not feel on top of my game that morning. I thought I
totally botched the interview. I was just starting to get sick and had a late
night, which means I wasn't exactly sharp with my answers. After the interview
we had some breakfast and then I had my second drum lesson. We went down to Georgetown
and instead of learning how to play drums we pretty much chatted with the
instructor about touring for about an hour. After the drum lesson Aaron and I
started to get into a little disagreement. Let’s just say when we got home he
started packing and I went to the gym for 3 hours… By the time I got home
things had cooled off and then headed to dinner with Matt. I cried at dinner,
because I wanted to take Matt with us to Texas. He’s such a great man, one of
our best friends, and incredible musician. We love him and hope one day he’s
not too far away.
